Thy Kingdom Come

Thy kingdom Come is a global prayer movement which the Archbishop of Canterbury is inviting people around the world to join.He is calling on Christians to pray that people might know the love and comfort of Jesus Christ during a focused time between Ascension and Pentecost from 21st – 31st May.

We would have wanted to meet in church to pray together, have some prayer stations to help us think about prayer in a new way, and to have a celebration service in church.

Sadly we can’t do these things this year – so the challenge is for each of us to do what we can at home or out around our community as we go for a walk:

·  Can we commit to pray each day with God’s world-wide family using the resources below

·  Join in and pray together with our daily Livestream – at 9.30am every day from 21st – 31st May

We will be praying for our friends and families, for our streets and neighbourhoods – and for the nation and the world. But I also pray that you and I will be transformed through prayer by the Holy Spirit, and find new confidence to be witnesses for Jesus Christ. I hope that you can join us.

Please have a look at our Daily Prayer for Thy Kingdom Come Booklet. These will be used during our daily prayers.

Also, please look at our Bright Prayer Ideas for Families at Home. Please download a copy for you and your families use.
